Functional QA Engineer (On-site)

Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze product specifications to define the execution of the test to ensure compliance.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases.
- Identify, document, and report bugs using Jira as a tracking tool, as well as prioritize and classify bugs according to their severity and impact.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
Must-have Skills
To be successful in this role, you need:
- Knowledge of ISTQB
- Experience in software testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.)
- Familiarity with management tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of API validation using Postman
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Manual mobile testing
- Installation of mobile applications .APK (Android) and .IPA (iOS)
- Tools for debugging REST service request traffic (Android Studio, Charles, or Proxyman)
- Knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
- Knowledge of Gherkin
- Knowledge of QA management tools (QMetry, Zephyr, TestNG, or TestRail)
Nice-to-have Skills

Mobile test automation (Python + Behave + Appium)
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Ability to leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day editorial work, including drafting, analysis, research, or content validation. Provide recommendations on AI use and identify opportunities to streamline editorial workflows.
