Global Business Development Strategy

Our Global Business Development team is looking for strategy professionals to help define, grow. and scale our partnerships initiative. Our team develops partnerships across the live events value chain, including sports teams, leagues, concert promoters, and festival organizers. Our team has a flat and entrepreneurial culture, and this role will participate across the entire lifecycle of deals – from deal design to contract negotiation.
Our team owns all of StubHub's global partnerships. We are looking for a well-rounded strategy and finance professional to work within the broader business development team. Key responsibilities will include development and evolution of StubHub’s partnership (and corporate) strategy; design, underwriting, and creation of pitch materials for new deals; and measurement, testing, and reporting on existing deal performance.
Key Qualifications:
· 4+ years of work experience, ideally in a management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy role.
· Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint.
· Extensive experience conducting quantitative analysis (including modeling) and qualitative analysis; able to drive data-driven insights and results.
· Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to present complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely.
· Strong initiative and ability to work independently and thrives in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
· Highly intellectually curious and has the courage to challenge the status quo.
· History of high performance in academic and professional settings.
This role is based in our Los Angeles, CA office and has a hybrid (3 in-person days per week) work schedule.
