Group HR Manager

TLDR

Drives the company’s people strategy with hands-on execution, standardizing HR processes, culture initiatives, and cross-border workforce governance.

🎩 Your Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, our Group HR Manager drives the company's People strategy with a strong operational focus.

The role is about defining and rolling out the HR roadmap in support of the organization's ambitions, while personally guaranteeing excellence of execution day-to-day: reliable processes, quality employee experience, and a consistent HR framework across our three countries (FR/UK/US).

✏️ What you'll do

Leading a team of two: a People Partner covering the UK/US scope and a Recruiter. You set the priorities and grow the team in autonomy and expertise.

Drive and deliver the HR roadmap

  • Roll out and maintain a shared HR framework across the 3 countries (FR/UK/US): harmonize role definitions, leveling grids, internal policies, and formalize key processes in clear, day-to-day usable documentation.
  • Implement concrete career paths: actionable evaluation criteria and readable progression trajectories.
  • Foster company culture and employee engagement: design and track concrete initiatives (onboarding, feedback, team rituals, internal surveys) to strengthen cohesion in a multi-site environment.
  • Operate the L&D policy: gather needs on the ground, select the right programs, organize the rollout, and measure the concrete impact on skills.
  • Build and maintain HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, engagement, absenteeism, payroll costs) with regular reporting that Leadership can act on.
  • Guarantee day-to-day HR operational excellence

  • Own the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with a high standard of quality and fluidity at every step: direct execution on the France scope, supervision and quality control on the UK and US scopes (in coordination with the HRBP).
  • Secure payroll in partnership with our external providers: hands-on ownership of French payroll (data accuracy, deadline compliance, consistency checks, fast resolution of discrepancies) and supervision of UK and US payroll to ensure the same level of rigor across the entire scope.
  • Be the operational go-to for managers on their day-to-day HR topics: performance management, sensitive situations, team development — with a pragmatic, action-oriented advisory posture.
  • Ensure multi-country legal compliance (French labour law, UK employment law, US legislation) in direct coordination with local legal counsel.
  • Manage the relationship with the CSE: preparing meetings, following up on topics, meeting legal obligations, and maintaining a smooth social dialogue.
  • Lead the HR team day-to-day: prioritize the workload, secure quality of execution, unblock operational topics, and grow each team member's autonomy on their scope.
  • 🧑‍🎨 Your profile
  • 6+ years of HR experience, with a generalist dimension and international exposure
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience is a must
  • Strong command of French labour law; knowledge of the UK and/or US environments is a plus
  • Fluent English required (bilingual working environment)
  • Ability to switch between strategic vision and operational execution
  • Comfortable with HR tools and curious about AI applications in HR
  •
