At Hover, we're redefining how homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals understand and improve properties. As we continue to grow, we're making a significant investment in organic acquisition—and we're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to build that engine.
This is an opportunity to own one of the most strategic growth channels at Hover. You'll lead our organic growth strategy across three impactful levers: Search Engine Optimization, Generative Engine Optimization, and Conversion Rate Optimization. Your charter will be to ensure customers both discover and choose Hover when searching for solutions.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature program. You'll build the roadmap, establish best practices, partner across Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Design, and create an organic growth engine that compounds over time.
You Will Contribute By
- Responsible for Hover's long-term organic growth strategy across SEO, GEO, and CRO.
- Create and evolve a website strategy aligned to contractor and insurance buyer journeys, ensuring content supports both search visibility and business objectives.
- Build high-impact website experiments, focused on driving higher conversion rate to signup.
- Develop Hover's point of view on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), experimenting with how AI-powered search experiences discover, summarize, and recommend our content.
- Build a technical SEO roadmap by identifying opportunities, prioritizing initiatives, and partnering with Engineering and our SEO agency to improve site performance.
- Build scalable editorial processes, including content briefs, publishing workflows, and agency management.
- Establish reporting frameworks that connect organic traffic to qualified user signups and revenue impact.
- Analyze performance data to identify opportunities, measure results, and continuously improve organic acquisition.
- Influence cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to prioritize initiatives that improve organic performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends across search, AI, and content marketing, bringing new ideas and experimentation to the team.
Your Background Includes
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in SEO, Growth Marketing, CRO, Organic Acquisition, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience leading both technical SEO and content strategy.
- Experience running website experiments rooted in clear hypotheses and measured with statistical rigor.
- Demonstrated success building or scaling organic acquisition programs—not simply maintaining mature channels.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience using SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, or similar tools.
- Experience measuring and communicating business impact, connecting organic performance to leads, pipeline, or revenue.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent written communication and editorial judgment.
- Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing teams without direct authority.

- Experience working at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Experience in vertical SaaS, PropTech, ConstructionTech, InsurTech, or other technical B2B markets.
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI search, or LLM-driven discovery.
- Experience managing agencies or freelance content partners.

Hybrid roles at Hover
Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000 - $163,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
