Hardware Engineer

TLDR

Develop hardware that integrates with software to solve real-world challenges, create educational tools, and enable contemporary art projects.

Details:

  • Comfort with electrical and/or mechanical engineering assumed.
  • Experience with SketchUp and/or SolidWorks preferred.
  • Comfort with programming a plus.
  • Time commitment is flexible but generally 6 to 12 hours per week.

Position offers opportunities to:

  • Develop hardware that, coupled with software, solves real-world problems on campus and beyond.
  • Machine educational tools for use in classes.
  • Design contemporary works of art.
