Head of Business Development
TLDR
Lead strategic merchant partnerships and programs across e-commerce, guiding a BD team to scale revenue through cross-functional collaboration.
- Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with large, national merchants
- Propose and drive implementation for new and recurring merchant programs to boost company top line metrics
- Manage and set KPIs for a team of SME business development executives and account managers
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (product, risk, and marketing) to ensure smooth delivery of business partnership projects
- An independent and result-driven individual with the passion for networking and is able to maintain a good relationship with partners especially e-commerce companies, preferably has experience with a payment gateway or payment company
- A smart individual, with superb interpersonal and communication skills
- At least 3 (three) years of relevant work experience; prior people management experience expected
- Vast network in e-commerce and retail industries preferred
