HQ - Senior IT Engineer

The position  As an IT Engineer, specialising in IAM, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, development and management of the IT application infrastructure within Job&Talent. You will ensure the availability and security of our systems and products, working in collaboration with external Vendors, internal stakeholders and the wider global team to streamline operating procedures and enhance the experience for users. Responsibilities

Manage user lifecycle in Okta (provisioning, deprovisioning, roles, groups).

Maintain and onboard application integrations in Okta (SSO, SCIM, etc.).

Regularly audit access and implement role-based access control (RBAC) best practices.

Monitor Okta security alerts and enforce MFA/session policies.

Generate reports on access patterns, user activity, and license usage.

Maintain accurate documentation and train internal IT teams on Okta management.

Administer Jira accounts, permissions, projects, workflows, and issue types.

Monitor Jira system performance and proactively resolve issues or bottlenecks.

Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between Jira and other tools (e.g., Okta, Slack).

Customize and optimize Jira workflows, automations, and dashboards for internal teams.

Provide Jira user training and create updated documentation for users and admins.

Act as escalation point for IAM or Jira-related incidents and service issues.

Identify and automate repetitive tasks, especially around provisioning and reporting.

Collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams on audit readiness.

Support vendor management for Okta, Atlassian, and related third-party tools.

Track licensing usage and contribute to cost optimization strategies.

Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Okta and Jira.

Keep internal stakeholders informed of system updates, planned maintenance, and key changes.

A successful candidate will have

Strong expertise in Okta IAM and administration

Solid experience in Jira administration and customization

Knowledge of security best practices (RBAC, MFA, auditing, compliance)

Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and managing integrations

Strong skills in documentation, training, and cross-team communication
