HR Generalist, Fulfillment Center
TLDR
Own day-to-day HR support across the fulfillment center network, balancing employee relations, performance management, and on-site compliance in a fast-paced hourly environment.
Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for frontline team members; triage, document, and resolve low-to-mid complexity workplace matters with strict confidentiality.
Leader Coaching & Performance: Partner with site leadership to execute hourly performance review cycles and ensure all corrective action documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with policy.
Onboarding & Backup Support: Step in as a tactical backup for onboarding logistics and timesheet management when Operations Excellence or Coordinator coverage is unavailable.
HR Operations & Compliance: Coordinate offboarding, transfers, and status changes while maintaining flawless data accuracy within the HRIS and tracking compliance workflows.
Engagement & Culture Ownership: Design and execute site-wide engagement activities, recognition programs, morale events, and employee communications to build a strong workplace culture.
Data & Metrics Reporting: Provide recurring people metrics reporting—including turnover, attendance, and review completion trends—to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Issue Resolution: Support payroll, leave of absence, and time-off escalations, ensuring swift, fair, and consistent resolution times.
Schedule & Presence: Maintain a consistent onsite presence at the local fulfillment center, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional after-hours shift support.
Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive HR experience in a fulfillment center, warehouse, manufacturing, or high-volume hourly environment.
HR Fundamentals: Working knowledge of employee relations, HR policies, standard compliance requirements, and performance management processes.
Systems Expertise: Experience working with HRIS, timekeeping platforms, and reporting tools to manage workforce data.
Communication & Coaching: Strong professional communication skills with a proven ability to coach frontline managers and build trust with hourly employees.
Execution & Judgment: Exceptional attention to detail regarding documentation quality, with the sound judgment needed to balance multiple site priorities and manage sensitive information,
