HR Operations and ER Specialist

We are looking for an HR Operations and Employee Relations Specialist based in India to join our global team, with a primary focus on HR Operations, administrative support, and employee/labor relations processes for designated countries such as France, Germany, and the Netherlands, while also supporting broader global HR Operations needs as required.

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end HR Operations support across the employee lifecycle, including HR transactions, employee records, data accuracy, and operational controls.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and stakeholders providing responsive, customer-focused support.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve systems and reporting, support automation, maintain documentation, and enhance the employee experience. Use AI tools to help improve efficiency, generate insights, reduce manual work, and support better HR service delivery.
- Administer employee relations and labor-related processes for designated countries, with a primary focus on France, Germany, and the Netherlands, including legal case coordination, Works Council consultations, and lifecycle documentation for new hires, internal transfers, organizational changes, terminations, and settlement cases.
- Prepare data, materials, agendas, and follow-up documentation for country-specific Works Council meetings, consultations, negotiations, and agreement updates.
- Coordinate recurring country-specific reporting and analysis for designated countries, including probation periods, joiners, leavers, terminations, sickness and absence rates, commission payments, compensation topics, and local legal requirements.
- Partner closely with Payroll for designated countries to ensure HR changes are reflected accurately, including MLA, sick leave, terminations, settlement agreements, compensation changes, and other payroll-impacting updates.
- Partner with Business Administration and HR stakeholders on country-level headcount planning, exceed requests, budget availability checks, and administrative requirements for designated countries.
- Support audit, compliance, and governance activities connected to employee data, compensation, labor relations, benefits, and country-specific legal obligations in applicable countries.
- Manage Change of Status approvals and Change Request processes, including creation, tracking, approvals, stakeholder reminders, and coordination with HR Partners where responsibilities are shared or transitioned.
- Support country-level insurance administration and reporting in applicable countries, including coordination of health insurance, pension-related items, and other local benefit administration needs.
- Provide project-based and ad hoc administrative support for HR Operations initiatives, process changes, data clean-up, documentation, and operational improvements.
Required Background
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a related HR role.
- Proactive, organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
- High attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and confidence working with data, reports, and operational tracking.
Desired Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field; quantitative degrees will also be considered.
- Experience with HRIS platforms, with exposure to process improvement, automation, or shared services environments.
- Knowledge of payroll processes, HR compliance, or government/regulatory reporting.
