What you’ll achieve

As the HR Operations Specialist, Denmark you you'll be the local HR partner for Denmark, supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle while working closely with our international HR team. You'll report to the HR Lead Benelux & Nordics, based in Belgium.

You will:

  • Manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data, and compensation & benefits.

  • Coordinate the monthly payroll process with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support recruitment across Denmark and the North Central Europe region, including interviews and hiring recommendations.

  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, Danish employment law, and HR best practices.

  • Build constructive relationships with employee representatives and unions.

  • Support HR projects, employer branding initiatives, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

  • Ensure accurate HR reporting and compliance with local legislation.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a broad operational HR Generalist role, including payroll coordination.

  • Solid knowledge of Danish employment law.

  • Experience working with unions or employee representatives.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in Danish and English.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Workday or another HRIS.

  • Experience in recruitment and employer branding.

  • Experience in an international or matrix organization
