Industrialization Manager
TLDR
Lead industrialization projects and optimize molds, automation, and production processes across multiple departments to drive efficiency.
- Lead industrialization projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination across different departments
- Plan and manage investments in molds, automation, and other high‑value assets to improve efficiency and achieve production targets
- Analyze current and future capacities of the machines and propose modifications of them to be effective and efficient
- Search and implement improvements in machines and processes to make them more efficient, as automation technologies
- Supervise the design, development, and implementation of new molds, ensuring compliance with production requirements and quality standards
- Manage the acquisition and integration of plastic injection molding and automatic machines into the production process, ensuring correct installation and performance
- Validate new products, molds, and materials according to required standards
- Select engineering suppliers and support negotiations and conflict management
- Keep all documentation updated (flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, SOPs) according to the latest processes
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
- Extensive experience in manufacturing and industrialization processes in injection molding
- Experience in automatic assembly projects, line relocations, new molds, new machines, and automation technologies
- Proven record of first leadership experience managing midsized teams
- Experience with LCM, material changes, and validations.
- Proficiency in executing IQ/OQ processes.
- Working knowledge with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, Six Sigma and in Lean Management
- A project management certificate could be an advantage
- Fluency in English and Spanish
