Information Security Engineer

Important Note: This is a global posting. Applicants for this job must reside in the Philippines and be legally allowed to work in the Philippines. The position is remote/work from home.

As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data and systems. This is a full-time remote position based in the Philippines and will be part of our Engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage the company's information security program
• Implement security measures, including encryption protocols, access controls, and regular security audits
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as SOC2 and ISO27001
• Train staff and foster a culture of data security throughout the organization
• Monitor emerging threats and proactively enhance security protocols
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the secure development and operation of our systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• At least five years of experience in information security, preferably in a technology company
• Deep understanding of data protection regulations and standards
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote team
