About the Role

This is an institutional role where you'll work alongside senior coverage to support and own Polymarket's most important client relationships - market makers, trading firms, hedge funds, and other institutional partners. You’ll focus on broader liquidity strategy, market microstructure and working with market makers to grow liquidity at scale in new and existing markets.

You'll be embedded in the day-to-day of institutional coverage: helping onboard new partners, keeping existing relationships healthy, and identifying opportunities to deepen engagement across the book. This role reports directly to the Head of Institutional Liquidity.

What You'll Do

• Own coverage on market maker and institutional client relationships end to end — from first outreach, onboarding, ongoing engagement, own follow-ups, and be the reliable point of contact for day-to-day needs

• Identify and onboard new market maker counterparties — crypto-native prop trading firms, traditional HFT shops, and TradFi liquidity providers — to expand Polymarket's liquidity provider base.

• Represent Polymarket at industry events and client meetings alongside the institutional team

• Synthesize client feedback and relay it internally to product and markets teams

• Monitor market maker performance against quoting requirements, uptime metrics, and market share/ranking benchmarks; deliver accurate, timely monthly performance reporting.

• Help structure incentive programs that reward genuine liquidity depth in core, high-volume markets rather than superficial coverage of a long tail of illiquid ones.

• Track competitive dynamics to keep Polymarket's market maker economics competitive without over-paying for liquidity.

• Work with Data and Engineering to build dashboards tracking quoting depth, spread width, and uptime in real time.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in a client-facing role in financial services — institutional sales support, prime brokerage, trading operations, capital markets, or similar

• Fluent in conversations with market makers, trading firms, and institutional investors — you understand how they operate

• Highly organized and responsive; clients trust you to follow through

• Eager to take on ownership and grow — ready to o run your own book day 1

• Strong communicator, clear and direct in writing and in person

• Strong experience with trading, market structure, or financial products — you can hold your own in a technical conversation

• Self-starter mentality — you identify what needs to get done and do it without waiting to be asked

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, legal, compliance, and operations to get deals across the line

• Experience at a crypto exchange, digital asset prime broker, or fintech serving institutional clients

• Familiarity with market making, liquidity provision, or electronic trading

• (Plus) Understanding of prediction markets, information markets, or alternative data

• (Plus) Experience coordinating institutional onboarding across legal and compliance
