Position Summary:

The Global Business Services (GBS) team helps drive BD forward by seeking out and implementing innovative ways to operate effectively and efficiently.  We are hiring a Regional Reconciliation and Fixed Assets Process Manager to lead innovation and drive transformation across RTR operations.  Reporting to the Global Process Management Lead, in this pivotal role, the successful candidate will play a critical role in deploying the transformation of our reconciliation and fixed assets processes on a regional scale. You will support the design, implementation, and optimization of processes, leveraging your expertise to ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices across your region. You will collaborate closely with cross-regional reconciliation and fixed assets leaders to drive process improvements, enhance system capabilities, and achieve operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

People Management: 

  • Lead the team responsible for the reconciliation and intercompany (IC) process 

  • Responsible to guarantee reconciliation and IC team are compliant and timely execution of activities in scope 

Process Ownership:

  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and IC transactions, guarantee compliance with accounting standards.  

  • Supervise the reconciliation accounts cycle and ensure unreconciled items are investigated and well reported in a timely manner.  

  • Review and approve Intercompany deliverables and month-end close activities. 

  • Review and approve Intercompany SOPs and work instructions prepared by BPO partners. 

  • Partner with the Global Process Owner (GPO) to identify enhancement opportunities and implement best practices. 

  • Continuously assess and refine processes to boost efficiency, ensure accuracy, and compliance – discuss any Continuous Improvement opportunities with the GPO 

Standardization and Continuous improvement management:

  • Support the global transformation deployment ensuring adoption and driving efficiency, effectiveness, and standardization 

  • Regionally develop and maintain standardized procedures and guidelines for Intercompany 

  • Monitor KPIs related to Intercompany performance 

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as Key point of contact for various finance stakeholders in the Region 

  • Collaborate with GPO to identify process improvement opportunities and propose best practices. 

  • Identify and support training programs for finance and operational teams to ensure understanding and adherence to Reconciliation and Intercompany processes. 

  • Foster strong collaboration between outsourced team and key regional stakeholders to ensure seamless operations 

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks associated with the Reconciliation and Intercompany processes and develop mitigation strategies. 

  • Ensure that all processes comply with relevant financial regulations and standards. 

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong understanding of statutory accounting principles, international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 

Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. 

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, or Oracle) and financial reporting tools. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 

Ability to drive collaboration with senior leaders 

Ability to influence people at all levels locally, regionally, and globally 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 

A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable. 

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area, with a focus on Intercompany. 

Previous experience in a Record-to-Report function or similar finance sub-function is advantageous. 

Understanding of local statutory requirements and international financial reporting standards.
