Inventory Planning Manager

About the Role:

Responsible for managing future forecasts, current inventory levels, order placement, and analytics. Key OKRs include WOS targets, shrink, shorts and in stock rate.

Responsibilities: 

  • Includes future forecasting- using key inputs including historical trends, pricing, promotional activity as well as inventory and seeding
  • Work cross functionally with Category Management, Strategy Planning as well as Operations (inclusive of logistics); will also have the opportunity to work with the MM Product team to help set the needs for the Merch team that allows process improvement
  • Work closely with vendors on Purchase Order management and key metrics including on time delivery and fill rate
  • Individual Contributor however will need to be able to form strong cross functional relationships that will require this role to set direction for key partners. Their ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, and leverage cross-functional knowledge is crucial for driving projects, initiatives, and outcomes

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in excel and google sheets- using functions including vlookups, pivot tables, index matches. 
  • Ability to organize large and more complex data sets ensuring data is accurate while also being able to identify discrepancies. 
  • Has the ability to identify patterns in a data set that include internal and external factors that lead to set go forward strategies
  • Considers impact to customers and what matters to them. 
  • Can draw from industry insights. Is an excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proven skills in MS office suite and Google
