OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an Investment Team Fellow to participate in an 8-week paid internship program for sophomores and juniors interested in pursuing careers in venture capital. Fellows will have a first-hand look into how a Venture Capital firm works, with exposure to all levels of investment professionals and management and visibility into the full lifecycle of the investment process. With a time commitment of 15 hours per week, this Fellowship is designed for students to participate while attending school full time. Our fully-remote Spring 2023 Fellowship program will run from Monday, March 13, 2023, to Friday, May 5, 2023.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with one of our sector teams (enterprise, consumer, fintech, and digital health) in evaluating potential investments in early and growth-stage companies through financial due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis
• Research and distill data-driven insights by leveraging our platform, network, and independent research
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos and other strategic deliverables
• Manage/document meetings with entrepreneurs, portfolio company management meetings, and general deal flow
• Learn and partner directly with our associates/ senior associates through the execution of each element of the investment life cycle

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current sophomores or juniors (second or third-year undergraduates)
• All majors, backgrounds, and experiences accepted
• Authentic passion for technology industries and deep respect for entrepreneurship.
• Curious, collaborative self-starters interested in investing in technology, consumer internet, enterprise software, and digital health.
• High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
