About the job

As an IT Operations Technician, you will provide end-to-end technical support to ensure seamless operations across the organization. Manage user accounts, troubleshoot access issues, and deliver timely assistance to resolve service requests. Evaluate and implement new technologies to continuously improve IT support processes. Maintain security and privacy of systems and networks, while documenting procedures, repairs, and resolutions. Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards, and empower users through hands-on training and clear technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end IT support across hardware, software, systems, networks, and user access.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, devices, applications, and network equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, onboarding/offboarding, and login-related issues.
  • Monitor IT systems and networks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
  • Support IT infrastructure, system upgrades, technology implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve IT processes, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Maintain IT security, documentation, incident records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to users while ensuring IT policies and compliance standards are followed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of computer systems (hardware/software) and networks.
  • Experience with various operating systems and platforms (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and office automation products (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
  • Excellent communication abilities with a customer-oriented approach.
