The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor to maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in our facility. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers. This role is essential to the overall upkeep and appearance of the building.
Day in the Life:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, carpets, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated areas.
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting maintenance needs.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored properly.
- Lock and unlock doors as needed and ensure security of the facility.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies, and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners).
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing or walking for long periods.

Pay Equity
$15.00 - $18.03Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
