Junior Digital/Web Designer

About the job

At Flatpay, we’re looking for a Junior Digital/Web Designer to help shape and improve one of the most important parts of our brand experience: flatpay.com.

Instead of working across multiple client projects, you’ll focus on continuously improving one digital experience, our own. Together with colleagues from brand, marketing and product, you’ll help create and update a website that is clear, intuitive, and genuinely useful for the thousands of businesses that interact with Flatpay every day.

You’ll join our design team in Aarhus, working alongside specialists across brand, motion, and digital design. Together, we create everything from websites and campaigns to sales materials, TV commercials, and the ongoing development of the Flatpay brand. While your day-to-day focus will be on web, you'll be surrounded by experienced creatives working across many different disciplines.

Using tools like Figma, Webflow, and emerging AI-powered workflows, you’ll help design and build landing pages, campaigns, and scalable website experiences. You’ll also help ensure a consistent and high-quality experience across our seven European markets.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and make a visible impact. What you'll do

• Designing and building new pages, flows, and components for flatpay.com
• Continuously improving the overall website experience across markets and languages
• Collaborating closely with marketing and product teams on launches, campaigns, and new ideas
• Creating interactions and animations that make the experience feel more engaging and intuitive
• Optimizing pages for performance, SEO, and conversion
• Testing, learning, and iterating based on user behavior and insights
• Helping maintain a consistent visual and digital experience across the brand

Who you are

• Have experience working with digital design and websites
• Are comfortable in tools like Figma and Webflow
• Have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Care about details, structure, and creating intuitive user experiences
• Enjoy taking ownership and figuring things out independently
• See AI as a natural part of the creative process and are excited to experiment with new tools and workflows
• Are curious, eager to learn, and motivated by becoming better at your craft
• Want to grow within digital design, UX/UI, and conversion-focused experiences
• Speak and write both Danish and English fluently

It’s a plus if you

• Have experience building websites in Webflow
• Have worked with SEO or website optimization
• Have experience collaborating with marketing teams
• Have an interest in CRO and performance-driven design
