Key Account Manager

Position Summary
Power Integrations is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead and grow one of the company's most strategic customer relationships. This individual will serve as the primary commercial and technical interface for a high-value customer account, driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and developing long-term account strategies that align with both customer objectives and Power Integrations' business goals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing complex customer relationships with annual revenues exceeding $5M-$10M and successfully driving business growth in the semiconductor, power electronics, or related technology industries.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner and executive point of contact for a strategic customer account with significant annual revenue responsibility.
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans designed to drive long-term growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Build relationships across engineering, procurement, operations, product management, and executive leadership.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, design wins, and strategic partnerships.
Manage and grow annual account revenue within a portfolio valued at $5M-$10M+.
Own forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and revenue reporting.
Lead customer business reviews and strategic planning discussions.
Act as a trusted advisor by aligning Power Integrations solutions to customer requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional support from applications engineering, product management, operations, and executive leadership.
Support design-in activities, qualifications, and production ramp initiatives.
Travel approximately 50-75% as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical discipline preferred
8+ years of experience in account management, business development, sales, applications engineering, or related customer-facing roles.
Demonstrated success managing strategic customer accounts with $5M-$10M+ annual revenue responsibility.
Strong understanding of power electronics and power conversion technologies.
Experience with power semiconductors, control ICs, and related technologies.
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen with forecasting and revenue management experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting global OEMs, ODMs, or strategic enterprise accounts.
Knowledge of consumer, industrial, automotive, appliance, networking, or data center markets.
Experience leading multi-year customer engagements resulting in significant revenue growth.
MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
