Kitchen Team Member

Responsibilities:Prepare meats, cheese and vegetables by washing, cutting, chopping, and slicing various produce using slicer, knife, or other kitchen toolsCook ingredients, as appropriate. This may include, yet not be limited to: bacon, sausage, sautéed onions, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, pasta, and chickenOperate the stove, griddle, and oven for various menu itemsAssemble sandwiches, wraps, salads and snacks by following detailed instructions to ensure quality, consistent productAssist in the preparation of school and staff lunches, as needePrepare cookies and cookie dough, as per recipe and preparation instructions suppliedAssemble snack items, as appropriate. This may include cookies, popcorn, candy, etc.Assist with unloading of deliveries and their proper storageAssist in keeping cold storage and dry storage areas neat and organizedInform management if inventory appears low or if there is a concern or safety issue with any of the product, equipment, or other team membersInteract with customers, vendors, or delivery drivers as needed Use Tablets, as appropriateHelp teach, train and mentor new members of the teamClean, sanitize, sweep, mop and handle waste as appropriate every shift Other duties as assigned
