The Gables Veterinary Group is entering an exciting new chapter under new leadership, and we’re looking for an experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our close-knit small animal GP clinic.

As Lead Veterinarian, you’ll play an important role in shaping this next chapter, supporting the team and promoting clinical excellence.

About the role

You’ll combine hands-on clinical work with leadership and mentorship, with the opportunity to influence how the clinic operates and support the development of the veterinary team.

You don’t need to have held a Lead Vet title previously — we’re interested in experienced veterinarians who are ready to step into leadership.

About you:

We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian who:

• Has 5+ years’ experience in small animal general practice
• Has strong clinical skills across medical and surgical cases
• Is confident providing leadership, guidance and mentorship
• Holds a Bachelor or Doctor of Veterinary Science and is registered with the ACT Veterinary Practitioners Board
