About the role

Own solution design for complex, multi-modal learning projects for our client, from architecting the solution through deployment. You'll select and justify the right blend of learning modalities, coordinate vendor partners, and lead one of two India-based design pods delivering the work.

What you'll do

• Own solution design for complex projects, building solution architectures that integrate multiple components, modalities, and delivery channels

• Select and recommend the right blend of ILT, VILT, e-learning, simulations, social learning, and on-the-job components, with rationale tied to learning science and cost-effectiveness

• Coordinate vendor relationships for content development, technology platforms, and delivery services, from selection through performance management

• Own end-to-end project management from design through deployment: plans, milestones, resourcing, risk, and cross-functional coordination

• Maintain design intent through development, reviewing content, storyboards, and prototypes, and advocating for quality when it's at risk

• Lead a dedicated design pod of six (a Senior Instructional Designer, two Instructional Designers, two Learning Developers, and a Multimedia Designer), including workload allocation, quality review, coaching, and performance management

Requirements

What you bring

• 8+ years in learning solutions architecture, instructional design, or learning program management

• A track record designing and delivering complex, multi-modal learning solutions

• Strong end-to-end project management and vendor management experience

• Experience people-managing a small, multi-disciplinary design/development team, including performance management and coaching

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Instructional Design or a related field preferred
