We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. As our logistics manager you will be leading key projects and programs related to the expansion of our logistics partner network and ensure capacity is sufficient and available to support the growth of Oura’s distribution network worldwide. This role is also responsible for finding out critical materials, deliverables and resources on opening new sales channels and partnerships and creating solid plans and managing the actions from a logistics point of view.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing retail partnerships through 3PL's and building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

What You will do:

Plan and manage logistics projects to support Oura’s expansion to new markets and sales channels. Take an active role in defining needs, creating the solutions, and implementing the actions.

Leading and implementing the transfer or setup of distribution centers (3PL partners), while considering overall objectives and constraints.

Partnering with business leaders to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations

Establishing and implementing project plans, timelines, milestones, roles and resources

Manage and strategically plan the logistics, transportation, warehouse and reverse logistics

Negotiate and liaise with the manufacturers, suppliers, retailers as well as with the consumers

Keep track of quantity, quality, delivery times, stock levels, efficiency and incurred transportation costs

Maintain metrics and analyze the data to assess the current performance and implement improvements as and when required

Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.

Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.

Mentoring project team members and act as an logistics expert to build expertise and support future projects and programs

Identifying and managing cross-departmental teams to drive tasks to completion

Standardizing processes to improve distribution capabilities across the global network

We would love to have You on our team, if You have:

Suitable University degree and/or 7 years’ experience from logistics management and development

Knowledge of building world class distribution networks with partners

ERP knowledge and project management, NetSuite experience considered a plus.

Knowledge of import/export requirements, cross-dock, communicating with carriers and forwarders, prioritizing and negotiations

Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and perform business and cost analysis to make recommendations and introducing new working methods

Experience in quantitative applications such as Microsoft Excel

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1: $140,000 - $155,000
  • Region 2: $133,000 - $147,000
  • Region 3: $126,000 - $139,000
  • Region 4: $119,000 - $131,000
