Logistics Specialist – Shipping & Customs (Human)

Your Mission & Challenges

In our logistics department, it's not just about shipping goods – we ensure that state-of-the-art robotic systems arrive at our customers worldwide reliably, quickly, and in full compliance with all regulations.

As a Freight Forwarding Clerk at NEURA Robotics, you will serve as a key interface between shipping operations, customs processing, and international transportation. You will not only coordinate logistics activities but also stay closely involved in operational execution while actively contributing to the development of scalable processes as we transition from a start-up to a smart factory.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate national and international shipments via road, air, and sea freight.

  • Manage customs clearance processes, including the preparation and verification of all relevant export documentation (e.g., export declarations and certificates of origin).

  • Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and foreign trade requirements.

  • Coordinate and manage freight forwarders and logistics service providers, including obtaining, comparing, and negotiating quotations.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Warehouse Operations, Goods Receiving, Production, and Sales.

  • Support hands-on operational activities when required, including transporting robots to customs authorities if necessary.

  • Assist in establishing clear, structured, and scalable shipping and logistics processes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding Clerk, Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist, or a comparable qualification.

  • Several years of experience in shipping, export operations, or transportation management.

  • Solid knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations.

  • Experience working with international logistics and transportation service providers.

  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.
