A little about us:

We have The Core. The Core allows you to message, call and play with your friends. And not only that, our technology turns every message into a portal to related information. But one does not simply find the relevant words in a message, for that, you need an AI, an AI so advanced, knowing how to administer the Turing test is considered a plus for a role at IDT Messaging.

About you:

We’re looking for a Magical Backend Developer skilled in Java/Kotlin and/or other JVM languages who has a high initiative stat and can add at least +5 intellect to our team, and the force strong in you must be.

You will join the team that works on the The Core, our state of the art micro-services based messaging backend, in-chat app framework, integrate with AI components as well as other services. (Not to mention some truly groundbreaking things we are building in our dungeon. The code must flow.)

You:

• Are a kickass Java and/or Kotlin developer/wizzard.
• Have built highly scalable / available backends before.
• Know your way around JVM.
• Are capable of growing your own potatoes on Mars.
• Do not sparkle.
• Know where your towel is at all times.
• Have passed the Kobayashi Maru and Voight-Kampff tests.
• Must know the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow.
• Must not be a red-shirt, we’d prefer you come back from lunch in one piece.
