Marketing & Activations Coordinator Intern

TLDR

Develop multimedia copy and shape brand language across channels, with Portuguese fluency as a core requirement and collaboration with a diverse creative team.

Please note that the role is based in Madrid but you'll be responsible for our Porto location so fluency in Portuguese is required.

We’ll need you to take our brand language to the next level — of course, while keeping the playful, quirky, and experimental approach. You will be working with a very diverse creative team of Designers, Social Media Managers, Content Creators, PR Managers, and more.

What you'll do

  • You’ll write copy for a variety of media including social, video, and offline prints 
  • You’ll  work together with the Head of Communications, PR, and Social Media Manager on the overall content strategy & brand language that covers all our products (hotel, short stay, semester stay, co-working, F&B) 
  • You’ll assist the marketing team in events and press activations 
  • You’ll collaborating with the PR and marketing team to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials 
  • You’ll produce a long copy (newsletters, brochures, and press releases) as well as a short copy (social media/marketing campaigns) 
  • You’ll edit and proofread written pieces before publication 
  • You’ll stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere 

Who are you

  • You have BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a relevant field 
  • You have proven work experience as a Copywriter or similar role
  • You have a portfolio of published articles 
  • You have an ability to fact-check long-form content pieces 
  • You have time-management skills 
  • You have excellent writing and editing skills in Portuguese and English, producing concise and grammatically correct copy. Spanish will be considered a plus.
  • You have experience working in an international environment
  • You understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets. 
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • You are able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively 
  • You are able to see other people's points of view and accept feedback 
  • You have an eye for detail
