Marketing Manager - Customer Lifecycle Marketing & CRM

This job is no longer available and isn't accepting applications.

TLDR

Lead the transition from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Marketing Cloud Next while delivering lifecycle programs across more than 270 veterinary clinics.

At VetPartners, we support more than 270 veterinary clinics across Australia and New Zealand, enabling our teams to deliver outstanding care to pets and their owners. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and lifecycle marketing plays a critical role in helping our clinics connect with their customers, drive engagement, and deliver a stand-out veterinary experience.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join us on a 15-month fixed term contract covering parental leave and leading our customer lifecycle marketing and CRM function across the VetPartners network.

Reporting to the General Manager CRM & Loyalty, and working closely with Support Office, Operations, Marketing and Clinic teams, you will use your skills and experience to map journeys, segment audiences, and build, deploy, automate, optimise and report on lifecycle programs across all our veterinary services.

In the initial phase of the role, you will work hand in hand with the existing Marketing Manager on the rollout and transition from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Marketing Cloud Next. This will ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer, before you continue to lead business-as-usual lifecycle marketing for the remainder of the contract term.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the rollout and transition from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Marketing Cloud Next, including platform testing and journey migration coordinating with IT, vendors and marketing stakeholders
  • Leading the delivery of end-to-end lifecycle comms program, including build, quality assurance, deployment, reporting and optimisation
  • Working with clinic teams to guide our customers and ensure they are getting the most out of their vet relationship, with a focus on great client experience, frequency of visits and retention through triggered communications and medically relevant offers
  • Developing a testing strategy and roadmap to optimise all programs, including identifying opportunities to A/B test
  • Developing and executing, in collaboration with clinic teams and marketing services, effective clinic communications to reduce churn and drive new business growth through advocacy and referral
  • Influencing client lifetime value through higher product/service adoption, client satisfaction and improved health and wellness outcomes for our patient base
  • Support the adoption of Best for Pet Wellness Plan members to our existing audience of clients not currently on the program, whilst supporting the retention of existing members via strategic communications

About You

You are an experienced lifecycle marketer who combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on delivery. You demonstrate high ownership, a solutions-orientated mindset, and a track record of delivering results in complex, multi-site environments.

You will bring:

  • 3-5 years' direct Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, with prior experience or exposure to Marketing Cloud Next highly regarded given this role's focus on the platform migration
  • SQL and HTML coding skills, considered an advantage
  • Confident use of AI tools in your day-to-day work is mandatory
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legal, compliance and system changes and updates is mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation, with the ability to work independently to deadlines.
  • A good, analytical understanding of tracking, optimisation and reporting on campaigns and activity
  • Proven written communication ability with copywriting experience
  • Solid knowledge of CRM and analytics tools
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a warm, friendly and professional approach
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of experience and training); experience in clinical or distributed service-orientated businesses an advantage
