The role

Nested take the absolute best local agents and empower them with incredible tech to give a next-level experience to every single seller. As our Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with our agents to not only deliver them consistent, quality seller leads, but to enable them to acquire and nurture leads of their own.

You will be the driving force behind the growth of our current and future branches. We have nine branches across London currently, but our ambition to deliver superior selling goes much beyond that. We’re aiming for 25 branches by the end of 2021 with a view to going national soon after. Excited yet?

What you’ll get up to

Your primary challenge will be to keep the top of the funnel full with keen home sellers across all branches. Working with external agencies and our in-house team, you’ll be driving leads across a range of channels, from paid social and search (agency supported), to partnerships and even trusty old direct mail.

Historically, our successful channels have been digitally-focused (we are the modern agent, of course), but we’ve also gained great traction with classics of the estate agent genre, like direct mail, boards and word-of-mouth.

You will be marketing’s “man on the ground” in sales, creating a tight feedback loop to get feedback and ideas from our agents, testing what works and implementing successes across the board. Growing a branch is a team sport, so as well as driving leads for the team, you'll find new ways to enable them to contribute to the growth of their patches and drive success.

In the medium-term, you’ll be thinking about how we turn nine branches into ninety, using what you’ve learnt from our existing branches to cultivate a repeatable playbook for a successful branch launch. As part of scaling, you’ll be responsible for owning the agent proposition to find and on-board the best agents across the UK.

Accordingly, you will have ownership for the top-of-funnel performance of each of our branches, reporting back to the Head of Marketing and management team what’s working and what isn’t, while keeping the agents and the wider business abreast of your plans to conquer the UK.

What we're looking for

You’ll be a passionate, results-hungry marketer who has a background working in a digital-first marketing team and has aspirations to become a Head of Marketing.

We’d like to see experience working with our most successful channels and an ability to demonstrate good hands-on understanding of not just execution, but understanding how creative impacts performance and how to leverage those channels to accelerate the growth of the business.

With many stakeholders, from senior management through to our army of agents, you will be a people-person at your core, being able to listen and empathise with our agents, muck in to help them when it’s required, and also have the commercial sense to push back on ideas that won’t fly.

As with any growth business, you will need to be a self-starter, able to spin the multiple plates necessary to keep a young but ambitious business on-track.

Knowing your way around numbers, you should be able to present them in a useful, relatable way to stakeholders. People management experience would be a huge bonus as we look to build out the marketing team.
