Mechanical Technician Intern

TLDR

Hands-on experience assembling and maintaining robotic systems while developing mechanical assembly skills in a growing software and robotics solutions company.

IKH is a leading Software & Robotics Solutions company operating internationally. Within just a couple of years, our team grew up more than 80%, we moved into a new spacious and modern office, and we kicked off 2026 with several new and exciting projects in digital transformation, custom software, and robotics. We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the assembly and maintenance of robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the assembly of mechanical components and systems for robots following detailed instructions and drawings. 
  • Use basic hand tools and equipment to assist in the assembly process.
  • Ensure all components are properly aligned, fitted and fastened under supervision.
  • Help perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow safety guidance to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Gain hands-on experience with tools, instruments and assembly procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in or completion of a technical program in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field is preferred.
  • No prior experience required, but basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and develop mechanical assembly skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical principles and tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
