Night Warehouse Assistant
TLDR
Manage sorting operations, prepare routes in the system, track metrics, and keep warehouse processes safe, clean, and organized.
Responsibilities
- Management of sorting operations
- To ensure smooth running of sorting operations and guarantee daily completion
- To ensure continuation of parcel's lifecycle
- Routing responsibilities - prepare the routes in the system for sorting to take place
- Ensure proper inter-departmental reporting structure followed for all communication
- Identify and implement improvements where necessary
- Resolve problems as they appear: upon inbound/outbound
- Track relevant metrics.
- Keep the warehouse area safe, clean and organized through regular inspection
KPI
- Inbound/Outbound timings set
- Routes all prepared to specifications: 0 inaccuracies, fully loaded into mobile racks
- Maintaining breakage/Loss % for items in the warehouse
- Logical rostering maintained
- Orderliness of the warehouse and surrounds
Job Requirement & Skills:
- Candidates must possess at least SPM/Diploma/Degree in any field
- Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
- Working Hours: Night Shift 8.00pm - 8.00am
- Working Days : Sunday - Friday
- Willing to work in Mapletree Logistic Hub, Shah Alam
- Excellent computer skills such as Microsoft Office application and Email
- Strong ability to grasp operational processes and systems quickly
- Ability to solve problems and interact with personnel of various department
- Must be fluent in English & Malay
