Office and Culture Coordinator

As an Office & Culture Coordinator at BioRender, you’ll be a key culture champion, contributing to the People team’s all-hands-on-deck mentality. You will play a critical role delighting and empowering our team through supporting our day-to-day cultural activities, and by managing office operations. 

Your primary responsibilities will be to own the coordination of cultural initiatives, social and company-wide events, and new hire onboarding. In addition, you’ll help to ensure a comfortable working environment in our Toronto office by liaising with vendors and keeping it well-stocked and organized.

This role is a remote/in-office hybrid, where you will be expected to be available to work out of our Toronto office 1-2x per week to ensure office operations are running smoothly, or as required for special events. 

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating company-wide recurring events and ad-hoc social events
• Managing employee birthday and anniversary celebrations
• Ordering and mailing swag, gifts, and prizes for both employees and customers 
• Coordinating all elements of new hire onboarding and ensuring a smooth employee experience 
• Coordinating our Toronto office-space (including storage management, office supplies ownership) 
• Helping with other HR and talent administrative duties as needed

What you bring to the table

• Prior professional experience in an administrative role, ideally in a startup environment
• Prior experience planning and executing events 
• You have a knack for prioritizing effectively and are biased towards action
• Exceptional attention to detail - you sweat the small stuff and always have a Plan B, C, and D
• Tech savviness and ability to adopt new tools quickly 
• Top-notch communication skills
• Considerate of full-range of team member experiences, to ensure all gifts, events, and experiences are inclusive
