At Shakepay, the mission is not a poster on the wall. It runs through how we hire, how we make decisions, and how we ship products Canadians love. When a project is considered for our roadmap, we ask a plain question: will this get more Canadians owning bitcoin?

The app, the card, recurring buys, cash interest paid in bitcoin, and the rituals that make stacking feel intuitive all point in the same direction. We are building the easiest, most trusted way for Canadians to own bitcoin and build a better relationship with money.

Why this role exists

This is an open application for people who are deeply aligned with bitcoin and want to work on the mission before the perfect job title exists.

We may not have the exact role open today. But the right people do not always arrive exactly when a headcount plan says they should. If you have high agency, strong taste, and a track record of making things better, we want to know you.

• Based in Canada
• Deep conviction in bitcoin as the future of money
• A track record of ownership, execution, and independent thinking
• Comfort with ambiguity, small teams, and high accountability
