People Operations Generalist
TLDR
Own full-cycle recruiting while shaping scalable, people-first HR programs in a fast-growing startup.
Support core HR programs, including performance management, employee development, and retention initiatives
Partner on performance review cycles, including calibration and manager enablement
Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies, processes, and documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations
Partner closely with Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders on People Operations-related processes, reporting, and documentation, and assist with internal and external audits as needed
Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
Assist with monthly payroll and benefits reconciliations.
Own culture and engagement initiatives throughout the organization
Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation
Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruiting strategies
Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates across multiple functions
Leverage various sourcing channels, tools, and networks to attract top talent
Ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and provide guidance on HR-related matters
Support employee relations activities, including addressing concerns, conducting investigations when needed, and resolving issues thoughtfully and fairly
Assist with employee engagement initiatives to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture
Conduct regular check-ins to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Support employee offboarding processes in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Contribute to career development initiatives, including job architecture, competencies, and growth frameworks
Partner with the People Operations Manager on systems implementation and process improvements
Help optimize HR tools and workflows to improve efficiency and employee experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in recruitment and HR generalist roles, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
