People Operations Specialist (f/m/d)

We are looking for a capable HR Specialist based in our Berlin HQ. You will assist the various People Operations tasks such as employee contracts, onboarding, and data management within the organisation. This role gives you the opportunity to learn and develop key skills to build a career in HR.

Responsibilities:

• Being a country or region-specific HR Expert across People Operations, employee experience, payroll management, HRIS / job architecture to support organisational development initiatives
• Being the main point of contact for any employee queries on people operation processes (such as hiring, pre-boarding, onboarding, probation reviews, absence management, termination policies, offboarding)
• Partners various department stakeholders to identify solutions that enhance and drive the overall business strategy
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and works with other functions to design and implement enhancements
• Utilise the HR information systems to ensure employee data is kept up-to-date and maintained efficiently

Requirements

• 2+ years experience within an HR Operations or People operations department (Non-recruitment roles)
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent in ‘on-the-job’ experience
• A strong client/ customer-facing body - able to build, engage and maintain relationships
• A self-starter attitude - Proactive, eager to learn and develop, collaborative and approachable
• Fluent in English and business level German at C1 or higher (other languages also highly desirable)
• Previous experience with HR information systems such as Workday
• Previous experience using a ticketing system such as PeopleSoft, Service Now or AtSpoke
• Previous experience with Docusign
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite applications
