We’re looking for a PMO Senior Specialist to join our Finance & Workplace team. In this role, you’ll help drive the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that modernize how our Finance organization operates, improves efficiency, and supports Nasdaq’s long-term growth.

You’ll work closely with PMO leadership, project teams, and senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Treasury, Procurement, and Accounting Product groups to keep complex programs moving forward. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving initiatives, collaborating across functions, and gaining exposure to enterprise-wide transformation programs.

If you're highly organized, proactive, and energized by solving challenges while working with teams around the globe, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

  • Support the execution of multiple Finance & Workplace PMO initiatives, helping projects stay on track and aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Maintain project plans, roadmaps, dashboards, Confluence pages, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reporting using tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Track milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables while identifying and escalating risks and issues when needed.

  • Partner with Treasury, Procurement, Accounting Product, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and drive progress.

  • Prepare executive updates, dashboards, and Steering Committee materials while ensuring adherence to PMO governance, reporting standards, and delivery processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, PMO, project coordination, business operations, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience using project and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to finance operations, treasury, procurement, accounting, or enterprise system implementation projects.

  • Experience supporting organizational transformation, modernization, or process improvement initiatives.

  • Interest in developing into a Project Manager role and continuing to build project delivery expertise.

What You'll Be Working On

This role supports a diverse portfolio of strategic and operational initiatives, including:

  • Treasury Transformation & Operations – treasury modernization efforts, including the migration from Quantum to Calypso.

  • Systems Modernization – legacy application decommissioning and migration to new billing and operational platforms.

  • Finance Transformation – accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and revenue analytics initiatives.

  • Vendor & Procurement Programs – vendor management transformation, cost optimization, and contract standardization efforts.

  • Strategic Enterprise Initiatives – Investor Day planning and execution, Digital Assets finance setup, M&A and divestiture financial integrations, and cross-functional operating model enhancements.

These programs provide broad exposure to enterprise transformation, operational excellence initiatives, and PMO best practices while offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders across the organization.

This position will be located in Philadelphia, PA and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
