Grow your leadership career with us! Vetcall is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated veterinary industry Practice Manager to lead two small animal clinics on the Gold Coast.

Vetcall Mermaid (Q Store) is situated in our local shopping village amongst the pristine waterways, with sister clinic Vetcall Burleigh located 10 minutes away in Burleigh Waters.

About the Role

As a multi-site Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the overall success of both clinics. You will oversee operations, people, and performance, ensuring exceptional standards across all areas of the business.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating all aspects of client care, nursing, and veterinary services
  • Driving customer experience, client engagement, social media and loyalty initiatives
  • Managing clinic performance including budgets, payroll, stock control, and P&L
  • Overseeing compliance, workplace health and safety, facilities, and presentation standards
  • Championing continuous improvement initiatives and key projects
  • Partnering closely with Lead Vets, Head Nurses, and regional leadership
  • Fostering a positive team culture focused on wellbeing, communication, and development
  • Building strong relationships with clients, community partners, and suppliers

About You

You are a confident and capable leader who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

  • Experience in managing day of operations within a veterinary environment (required)
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong commercial and growth mindset
  • Experience with practice management systems and appointment scheduling
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Cert IV Veterinary Nursing or demonstrated clinical skills desired
