As a Principal Software Engineer you are part of an innovative and collaborative team, driving end-to-end delivery of new functionality—from architecture and implementation to deployment for customers—partnering closely with product owners, leads, and agile coaches. Brings deep experience designing and scaling complex systems, leading cross-functional teams, and improving performance, reliability, and user experience across cloud, full-stack, APIs, and DevOps automation. Known for hands-on leadership, mentoring engineers, and aligning technical execution with business strategy.

What You'll be doing:
- Build high-quality web and cloud applications together with a team of dedicated developers.
- Work closely with the product owners and customers to turn their ideas and requirements to top-class solutions.
- Provide architectural leadership and guidance on complex technical initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture through pair programming, mob programming, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
- Drive continuous improvement of products, platforms, development practices, and operational processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering practices, evaluating opportunities to improve products and development efficiency.
- Drive and take initiatives to always improve Verint's products and processes.
Requirements
- Expert-level software engineering experience with modern backend technologies (C#, Java, or equivalent) and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript libraries.
- Thorough experience of test-driven development.
- Thorough experience of pair-and/or mob programming.
- Thorough experience of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Thorough experience of agile development methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of database programming fundamentals.
- Own technical strategy and architectural direction across multiple teams and products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term platform evolution.
- Lead and help others within/outside of your own team, for multiple products.
- Develop, follow and share best practices.
- Solve complex problems with no standard solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- You have a drive to always deliver value to customers.
- You proactively keep yourself up to date with the latest trends.
