Procurement Expert
TLDR
As a Senior Procurement Expert, you will design and execute our global purchasing strategy to optimize spend and shift towards a proactive, value-driven procurement culture.
Policy Creation: Draft and implement a clear, user-friendly Purchasing Policy that defines approval workflows and spending thresholds.Implement this policy within our P2P tools (Pivot) and make sure the new rules do not add unnecessary bureaucracy.
Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end RFPs (Request for Proposals) for major contracts, ensuring competitive bidding and favorable SLAs.
Contract Management: Act as the primary gatekeeper for legal and financial terms in vendor contracts, working closely with the Legal & Operational teams to minimize liability.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a business partner to department heads (Marketing, HR, Tech) to help them get the best value for their budgets.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10+ years of progressive experience in a general Procurement role, ideally within an international scale-up, marketplace, or SaaS environment.
Technical Skills: Proven track record in running and improving P2P tools (e.g., Zip, Coupa, Pivot); proficiency in Pivot is a strong plus.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to turn messy data into actionable insights using Excel/SQL and data visualization tools.
Languages: English and French on a native level to navigate both local French labor-related spend and global tech vendor negotiations.
Soft Skills: A "builder" mindset with the assertiveness to enforce policies and the emotional intelligence to maintain strong partner relationships.
First call: Initial screening with our Talent Acquisition Manager.
Hiring Manager Interview: Meet Edith S., Head of Finance & Performance, to discuss the role's vision.
Case Study/Technical Interview: Present your analytical and negotiation approach.
Final Round: Meet with Benoît Charpentier and other key stakeholders
