Procurement Manager

We are looking for a fast learner and hands-on Procurement Manager to join Adyen's Procurement team, a dynamic global team within our Operations function. The goal of the group is to contribute to Adyen's long-term growth. In this role, you're part of the team responsible for increasing value over investments by sourcing, negotiating, and closing the best deals. Initially, you will focus on our In Person Payments and Issuing offerings. Still, you can also scale your knowledge alongside the company's needs.

What you'll do

  • You will lead and initiate commercial negotiations, including but not limited to contract renewals or to set up new agreements.
  • You will be responsible for supplier screening and due diligence.
  • You will set paths for optimal operations in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • You will do vendor monitoring on contractual agreements.
  • You will be tracking and reporting on industry trends.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with key vendors.
  • You will be working with the Product team on product roadmaps, including but not limited to new product introductions. 

Who you are

  • You're well-organized and like to solve problems with a pragmatic approach. 
  • You're data driven with an analytical mindset. 
  • You're a natural networker, great in stakeholder management and negotiations. 
  • You have at least 4-6 years of relevant experience, including vendor management and sourcing. 
  • You're proficient in English; fluency in another language is an added advantage. 
  • You have a global mindset, able to work across countries and cultures.
  • You have project management skills, resourceful, and able to work independently

Please note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
