Product Development Coordinator, Jewelry

The Role:

Mejuri’s Product Development team is growing and we are looking for a coordinator to join our team! The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Product Development Team on daily development & production related tasks which include updating internal systems, communication with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.  The Product Development Coordinator owns all competitive & trend analysis as well as coordinating with cross functional teams on sharing product specifications and sample ready dates for photo shoots. 

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain all development and TOP samples as well as coordinate with cross functional teams on sample share dates.  
• Manage and respond to daily supplier emails and update Asana, Working Road Maps, and internal costing file with updates, sample ETA dates and costing. 
• Collaborate with cross functional teams inclusive of Creative, Packaging & Display, Marketing and Editorial to complete tasks such as sample status updates, packaging callouts as it relates to products and reviewing editorial photos for accuracy. 
• Competitive & trend analysis and research. 
• Ensure internal systems are always accurate & up to date with product information.
• Ensure the Company Shared Roadmap is always up to date with accurate information.  
• Request sample list from suppliers and upload into Fulfil for records.
• File weekly PD report in google drive.
• Compile library of materials for design reference and future product development, alongside update product knowledge file.

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in jewelry product development.
• Luxury accessories and/or an e-commerce background is an asset.
• Experience and understanding of manufacturing, supply chain operations, and distribution.
• Energy, confidence, self-motivation.
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills.
• Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge and understanding of Mejuri’s product and brand. 
• Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn.
• Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter.
