Product Manager - API & EHR Integration
The healthcare system is a mess. Come work for the company that is best positioned to fix it. As a Product Manager for our API & EHR Integration Team, you’ll help us build and scale some of the most critical pieces of technology to get that job done.
Health Care Doesn’t Have to Be So BrokenAt Aledade, we’re upending the perverse incentives in health care. We help doctors keep patients healthy and get paid for the quality of care they give to their patients rather than the number of visits they can cram into their schedule. Those patients stay well at home instead of getting sick and going to the hospital. Our doctors get a slice of the money they saved by preventing that unnecessary hospital visit. It’s simple, the doctors get paid for what matters; their patients’ health. This isn’t a pipe dream. We’ve already proven it works. Our doctors are accountable for the care of over a million Americans and have already saved over $800M in wasteful spending. They’ve done this all while doing more for their patients, not less. In our model, what’s good for the patient and good for society is also good for business. Incentives, aligned, are a powerful thing.
Data Is The Heart of Our TechThese results don’t spring out of a vacuum. It takes powerful tech to get this job done. One of our superpowers at Aledade is getting the right data with the right context in front of clinicians when they are making decisions with their patients. To do that we pull data from thousands of doctors offices, hospitals, pharmacies, labs and health insurers. If you think your grandma has a lot of prescriptions and doctor’s visits, imagine trying to track every medication, lab result, appointment, blood pressure reading etc. of millions of grandma’s across the country, and turning that into something a doctor can use to deliver care. It’s a tall order. That’s why we need you.
We’ve Got Values We Actually Back UpOur core values at Aledade are: Service, Accountability, Inclusion, Evidence and Curiosity. These aren’t just empty promises. Take, for example, “Service.” When COVID hit, our doctors and their staff found themselves on the front lines battling a disease they had never seen before. When they found themselves without access to the supplies they needed to keep safe we hustled to procure and deliver over $1.3M of personal protective equipment to their doors. When they needed to start seeing their patients virtually for the first time, within the span of about two months we shopped for and vetted a telehealth platform, integrated it into our app, subsidized the cost for our doctors and rolled it out to hundreds of practices who had never done a telehealth visit before. The job we have to do at Aledade is hard. People don’t stay here because they have it easy. They stay because we act on our values.
About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced product manager who is an analytical and systems thinker and who can help us build a data platform and a robust set of APIs to exchange data with external partners.
