Product Marketing Manager

Connexity is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Los Angeles team (currently working remotely), and we’re hoping that person might be you!

While reporting to the VP of Product Marketing for Connexity, you’ll have a set of responsibilities that will enable you to make a meaningful impact on Connexity.

The Product Marketing Manager will help drive new and existing product adoption, help our account teams articulate the benefits of Connexity and help to identify key market needs that steer on-going growth strategies. The role focuses on B2B marketing to retailers and content channel operators. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, can develop partnerships across multiple functions (Product, Engineering, Sales, Leadership) and will have a track record of executing go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Your work will cover product positioning, go-to-market, messaging campaigns, asset creation and communication.

2. Create and execute marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, engagement and adoption for multiple geographic markets (US, UK, France, Germany, Italy).

- Develop positioning and messaging, manage and iterate through feedback as well as regional language translations

- Develop multi-modal comms plans (Email, in-product notifications, collateral, web content, etc.)

- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Account Management, Leadership, Marketing) to define, execute and monitor campaigns

3. Communicate the value proposition of products and develop effective sales/support materials.

- Contribute to the development of value propositions and articulation of customer benefits

- Develop and maintain a library of effective sales and support collateral

- Train go-to-market teams on use of collateral

4. Bring new product roadmap milestones to market.

- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales and Leadership to develop go-to-market strategies

- Develop plans and execute internal team training on positioning/messaging

- Develop, distribute and ensure usage of necessary collateral

5. Gather and synthesize market intelligence and customer feedback in order to inform our on-going assessment of market opportunities and to represent the voice of customer.

Requirements

Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years work experience in marketing, digital advertising, ad-tech, software or consulting
  • Experience executing go-to-market strategies
  • Experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
  • Analytics, data-driven decision making experience
  • Qualifications:

  • Demonstrably excellent communication skills
  • The ability to simplify concepts and communicate per the needs of various audiences
  • BA/BS degree
  • Person Specification:

    * Rigorous, disciplined with a strong sense of urgency

    * Ability to interact directly with our top customers

    * Commercially-minded

    * Affiliate/Ad tech industry experience - you have dabbled with online tracking and are keen to learn more

    * Deep curiosity, with a sharp inquisitive mind and the conviction that true success comes from data-led validation at pace

    * Knowledge of advertising, eCommerce - or better, of the affiliate space - is a plus

    * Pragmatic /Open-minded approach

    * Brings new ideas to the company;

    * Learns quickly. Demonstrates ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information;
