Jem is a fast-growing HR tech scale-up building payroll, HR and benefits tools for frontline teams. We currently support over 250,000 frontline employees across South Africa.

Jem Mobile puts affordable airtime, data, devices and value-added services into the hands of frontline workers.We're hiring a commercially sharp product marketer to grow Jem Mobile. You'll manage the performance and digital sales engine, and work closely with the product team on the customer journey.

️ Your Mission

• Run a data-driven campaigns engine across acquisition, cross-sell, upsell and drop-off recovery.
• Own the conversion, revenue, gross profit, activation and retention.
• Work with the product team to tighten the customer journey and the online shop
  

️ What Success Looks Like

• Campaigns run on a regular rhythm
• Conversion, revenue and gross profit improve, and weak steps in the journey get caught early.
• You can say, with numbers, what to push, change or stop.
  

️ What You'll Do

• Own the campaigns calendar and the weekly rhythm across acquisition, cross-sell, upsell and drop-off.
• Build segmented offers and test them.
• Read the funnel and pull a story from it.
• Partner with the product team on journey fixes and the digital device shop.
• Track which bundles and promotions are working.

• Think like an ecommerce marketer and care about both the customer and the margin.
• Are highly numerical and comfortable with revenue, gross profit and other commercial metrics
• Have a point of view and can defend it with numbers
  

️ Requirements

Minimum:

• 3 to 6 years in product marketing, performance marketing, e-commerce or digital sales.
• A track record you can put a number on.
• Strong numeracy.
• Hands-on campaign or lifecycle work.

Nice to have:

• Telecommunications, devices, fintech, loyalty or employee benefits.
• Scale-up experience.
