Product Photographer

Chilindo is looking to recruit an experienced product  photographer to shoot still sets of products and merchandise for our online E-commerce site. The photographer must be able to work with minimal direction and take self-direction actions in order to ensure our products are displayed in best possible manner. The photographer is reporting to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

• Photographing, lighting and styling  products and merchandise according to Chilindo.com specifications
• Working autonomously in a high volume environment while maintaining high image quality and meeting high standards
• Ensuring color accuracy
• Organizing products for photography
• Preparing, naming and sending images according to production specifications
• Partnering closely with creative team for styling and art direction
• Ensure all images are properly optimized and sent to the site
• Track progress on all on-going projects and report to creative director
• Perform AD hoc photographer assignments as requested

Requirements:

• Educational background in photography, arts or graphic design
• 2+ years photography experience preferably in a digital print or web environment

• Experience photographing and retouching in online retail, e-commerce or similar is considered a strong plus
• Good command of English
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take actions as required
• Result-oriented personality and drive to get things done
• Creative instinct to ensure new and innovative solutions to our product exposure is carried out in best possible manner
