This Position reports to:

Sales Support Manager - Customer Support Your role and responsibilities

The product support department is responsible for the technical support of the ABB product portfolio for customers and internal stakeholders. The technical experts within this group support sales, service and project teams of our customers in designing, building and commissioning robot installations.


You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Provide technical expertise to customers for industrial robots, robot cells, and automation solutions
  • Advise customers on the selection, configuration, and application of robotics solutions
  • Contribute to technical concepts and solutions based on customer requirements
  • Simulation of robot installations
  • Support the sales team with technical presentations, demos, and quote preparations
  • Provide technical support during the startup of our products, including root cause analysis and developing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with the engineering, service, and project teams of our customers to ensure successful implementations
  • Organize and deliver product training to customers, partners, and internal staff
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Automation, Robotics or equivalent through experience
  • Proven experience with industrial robots and automation solutions
  • Knowledge of robot programming, vision systems, networking, and industrial communication protocols
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within the Benelux region and occasionally abroad
