Program Financial Analyst

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Monthly/Quarterly program forecast reviews. 

  • Budget Variance analysis including Estimate To Complete (ETC), Estimate At Complete (EAC), and Budget Baseline analysis.

  • Analyze and validate project costs; analyze project performance status and identify financial risks.

  • Sales Forecasting.

  • Assist and support the reconciliation of contracts for revenue recognition, funding, percent complete, customer billings, and CDRLs.

  • Participate in project cost review meetings.

  • Prepare presentations and host Program Financial Review meetings with senior management.

  • Support financial audits as necessary.

  • Prepare adhoc reports and analysis as necessary.

  • Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word

  • Power BI Experience (preferred)

  • Thrives in a continuously changing environment

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management effectively and respectfully, both verbally and written

  • Ability to solve problems using complex sources of data

  • Ability to understand and navigate multiple projects with demanding deadlines

  • Proven experience working in a team environment with all levels of management

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical skills, while maintaining attention to detail and effective time management/organization

  • Experience with Government accounting requirements and various contract types (fixed price, cost plus, T&M, IDIQ, etc)

  • U.S. citizenship (required)

Salary Range:

$62,800.00-$83,700.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
