In this role you will have an important and immediate impact by assisting with onboarding, licensing, and payor enrollment of healthcare professionals (multi-state). You will also handle the Credentialing Verification Organization operations as Carbon Health grows!

This role is offered fully REMOTE and able to consider candidates anywhere in the U.S.!

What You'll Do

  • Guide the processing of payer enrollment applications for healthcare providers for managed care plans and vendor management using CAQH, PECOS, Availity, OPTUM and other payer platforms.
  • Deliver information to stakeholders to help drive decisions
  • Partner with recruitment teams on provider onboarding & review important initial paperwork and applications and identify possible issues
  • Reach out to healthcare providers to obtain necessary information
  • Consult with peers and manager to determine severity of issues and how they may impact the enrollment process
  • Own accuracy of the maintenance & management of the credentialing database/platform
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on enrollment and licensure expectations & research and resolve enrollment issues
  • Monitor expiration of credentials and take necessary action

About You

  • HS diploma with 5+ years of payer enrollment experience or Associate Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Credentialing/Payer Enrollment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working independently and in fast paced environment
