Think mobile devices are going to change everything? Think the existing Web was built for the desktop era and things need to be dramatically different in an increasingly mobile world? We’re looking for a Python/Django Hacker to build on the MobStac core framework for the mobile Web, and make it capable of scaling to handle millions of mobile sites all over the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on scaling the MobStac backend to handle millions of mobile websites
• Design developer APIs for the rapid development of mobile themes and plugins within the MobStac framework
• Write RESTful web services for interaction with native apps
• Develop algorithms for mobile content processing and delivery to a wide range of devices
• Make it all go really, really FAST!

What We’re Looking For

• 1-5 years of work experience
• Hardcore programming skills, preferably in Python, but any language will do
• Extreme working knowledge of Django and MySQL
• Experience with MongoDB is a huge plus
• Some exposure to running applications on Amazon EC2
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• True love for technology and what you do
• Demonstrated ability to learn pretty much anything quickly
• Maniacal attention to detail
