Job Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
What will your role look like?
- Own testing of Applications in Pre-Production and Production ensuring resolution or proactive escalation to tech/product and tracking them too.
- Test software manually via UI and Scripts. Log and track defects found during testing.
- Assist with integration, regression, and various other types of testing.
- Identify and recommend changes to increase the effectiveness and quality of the application
- Communicate with Users / Business / Technical teams to address bugs/data integrity on tools like - JIRA, Slack etc.
- Create user acceptance testing plan and attached prior to beginning UAT phase of the project
What are we looking for?
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools as well as Manual Testing.
• Skilled in debugging Web and mobile application and ability to reproduce across devices
• Ability to analyze the origin of the problem and root causes for the same.
• Good understanding of SQL queries with RDBMS like Mysql.Basic understanding of Javascript, HTML and CSS
• Working knowledge of Programming languages like JAVA,PHP, JavaScript. Added advantage if you have worked on Automation tools like Appium, Selenium
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• BE/MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
